Your email is for the launch announcement. Here is how we look after it.
Who looks after your data
Soda Creative Studios Ltd, company number 16573747, operates Thirsty Boi and is responsible for personal data collected through this website. Contact hello@thirstyboi.co.uk about your data or to withdraw your signup.
When you sign up
We store your email address, signup time, the website you signed up through and a record of your request. We use this to tell you when Thirsty Boi launches. Our basis for doing this is your consent, given when you submit the launch form. Signing up is optional.
We keep the launch list while preparing and sending the launch announcement, then delete it when that purpose is complete. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us. We will remove your signup; withdrawing does not change the lawfulness of earlier use. We do not sell the list or add you to unrelated marketing.
Running the website
Cloudflare hosts this website and stores signups in a private database on our behalf. Requests also involve technical information such as IP address, browser details and request time. We use security checks and temporary rate limits to prevent abuse and keep the website working. Our basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
Cookies and analytics
We use browser storage to remember your privacy choice for six months. This preference storage does not track you across websites. Optional analytics is currently disabled. If enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics will load only after you choose to allow analytics and will help us understand page visits and performance. You can change your choice using the Privacy choices link at the bottom of any page.
Who processes data
Access to the signup list is restricted to us and our hosting provider, Cloudflare. Data may be processed outside the UK. Cloudflare's processing terms provide safeguards for international transfers, including standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum where applicable. See Cloudflare's data processing terms. If we introduce a mailing provider, we will update this notice before sharing the list with it.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict processing, object where we rely on legitimate interests, or receive data in a portable format where that right applies. Contact us using the email above. We may need to confirm your identity. We do not use your signup for automated decisions or profiling.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator.
